Purpose of the Consecration
The primary goal of this 21-day consecration is to dedicate time to seek God through prayer and fasting.
- Types of Fasting: Various fasting methods can be adopted, including:
- Complete Fast: Abstaining from all food for a designated period.
- Partial Fast: Skipping specific meals or certain types of food.
- Daniel Fast: Following a plant-based diet.
- Alternative Fasting: Social media, screen time, chocolate, etc.
2. Spiritual Focus: Participants are encouraged to focus on prayer:
- Pray at 12 Noon everyday if possible.
- Personal: spiritual renewal, family and friends.
- Community: Urban Refuge, schools, government.
- Global concerns and revival.
- Read and pray scripture.
3. Practical Tips:
- Pray Consistently: Fasting without prayer is dieting.
- Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to stay healthy.
- If you have medical conditions or are pregnant, prioritize safety.
